| Welcome to Lake Hyco Cattery. Enter here for a short tour of
the interior rooms. |
First we visit the recreation room for catnapping, dining,
drinking, lounging or playing. |
Turning to the left we see the boys' condos. The males have
access to the outside run. |
 |
 |
| This is the bath and grooming area. Notice the absence of
kitties in this area since bathing is not their favorite activity? |
To the right is the maternity ward. Moms can
enjoy privacy with their new babies and there's a bed so that I can stay close by when
mothers are expecting. Of course, the troops feel the need to inspect the facilities
before their due dates. |
 |
 |
 |
| Spending time with the new babies as they grow and develop is
important, as the cats and the people know. |
A cat's-eye view of Lake Hyco from the outside run. Can you
see the Canada geese grazing in the yard? The kitties can! |
A couple of girls are lounging in the fresh air and sunshine,
listening to the sounds of the lake-goers echoing up the hill. |
 |
 |
| The nursery is for weaned kittens that have not yet had
all their vaccinations. They enjoy a cat tree, a grooming bench and an antique
barber chair to climb on and toys in the floor to play with. They have their
own outside run to romp in, also. |
If you look back as you are leaving the cattery, the kitties and I
will be wishing you farewell and saying, "Ya'll come back now, ya hear?" |
