Welcome to Lake Hyco Himalayans
Lake Hyco is located in the North Central part of North Carolina in Person County. Yes, it's a real place. I lived there for many years before re-locating to Butler, TN, where I live with our Himalayan cats and kittens. Welcome to our home and Lake Hyco Cattery.
Himalayans are actually Persian cats with the color restricted to their faces, ears, feet and tails. Their long, white coats are in stark contrast to their "color points", producing remarkably beautiful creatures. It is of greatest importance to me to nurture these animals in a healthy, disease-free environment. Testing for PKD is part of my continuing struggle to preserve Himalayans for future generations to love and to appreciate.
